Most of you are on your way to becoming KGSP students and we want to use this medium to tell  you guys somethings about being a KGSP STUDENT. its been about 8 months we've been in Korea and boy has it been fun thanks to the kind-hearted Koreans at our language schools and beautiful teachers whom you get to see every morning. being a kgsp is one of the most unique things you will encounter in your life starting from the moment you step your foot in Korea. NIIED is responsible for you while in korea as for the first few months you get to eat free food due to outings from your language institutes. getting to meet new people from different part of the country is also an exciting feeling you get as you get to make new friends and family in them.looking back in time, our 8 month experience has been fun but amidst all this fun is the dreadful TOPIK which is the TIME BOMB of most scholars.
Diving into korean language is overwhelming as you have to memorize new words and learn new grammers everyday. keeping up with the pace is not all that easy as you will get pressured amidst it all. it quite fun if you know a little bit if the language but it is very hard for people who do not know the language before hand. every KGSP student is expected to take TOPIK 4 times or more depending on the language school and in these times, most of the scholars tend to fail on their first trial and just a  little number of scholars tend to pass in these times. well as for the people that passes it the first time, they tend to enjoy their stay in Korea from that point like travelling and exploring the nukes and crannies of the country while for the scholars that haven't made it well they are dreaded in their books most of the time but they have little time to have fun themselves.
Being at your language school is going to be one of the best experiences you will get as they will organize lots of outings for you guys and also take you to many korean cultural festivals. amidst all these you teachers will teach and encourage you guys on PASSING TOPIK so you don't have to worry much about it.
Making korean friends is one of the most wished things of KGSP scholars and you tend to improve you language skills with that. amidst finding these friends you can find girlfriends/boyfriends in them. being in a relationship with a Korean native is good as it will help improve your language ability and help you know more about the Korean culture.
they are lots of things to talk about but we don't want to bore you guys so kindly drop your comments below and we reply as soon as possible as if we were having a real chat.

will i wanted to knw abouth this but didnt know who to ask lol so it says that a scholar would be staying in a univ dormitory once he\she begins their under\graduate program, and that the dormitory fee will be deducted out of the monthly stipend by the univ..soooo my question is while the first year learning the korean language you also would stay in the dormitory, do you pay for it as well? from your monthly stipend? or that kgsp would help you out for the 1st year only?
