TIPS ON HOW TO FILL IN YOUR 2018 KGSP APPLICATION FORM

Its that time of the year again when aspiring scholars are struggling to make it to the list of successful candidates to come to Korea under the Korean government scholarship program. Here's a good news for you guys this year we will be providing ways on how to perfectly fill in your application form for the 2018 kgsp so you don't have any reason to worry again! kindly follow these steps below when filling in your application form

NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY FILL IN THE KGSP APPLICATION ON YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE PRINTING IT OUT. DO NOT WRITE USING PEN. PEN CAN ONLY BE USED FOR SIGNING

1. INPUTTING  NAME, DESIRED UNI, MAJOR: In this section, you are expected to carefully fill in your name according to your birth certificate or passport. carefully choose your university as you have 3 options via embassy track and 1 option via university track. for the embassy track, choose two top universities and one average university to be on the safe side.

1.  REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: In this section kindly tick the boxes provided to prove that you have the document to submit.

1.  PERSONAL INFORMATION: In this section carefully fill out your house address properly as it will be used to send your books by NIIED and also, input a recent phone number that can be used to reach you because the school or embassy will contact you for an interview.

1.  LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: This section is not a must but if you have, kindly add your language proficiency test score as it will boost your chances of getting the scholarship

1. HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: In this section, kindly input the right details about your high school as it is important.

1. HIGH SCHOOL GRADE, FAMILY BACKGROUND, AWARDS: This section is just as important as the rest. in the high school grade section kindly inform your estimate your scores with your transcript or ask your school to provide you with information about your grades. as for the family section, kindly write each member of your family name as well as their jobs. in the award section kindly input all the awards you have received as it will help boost your chances in competing for the scholarship.

1.  PREVIOUS VISITS TO KOREA, LIST OF RECOMMENDERS: in this section kindly leave it blank if you haven't visited Korea yet and if you have kindly input it. and also write the names of your recommender's at the recommender's section.

1.  NIIED PLEDGE: This section is important. you have to sign the pledge with your pen as it certifies that you agree with the term and conditions of the scholarship.

1.  PERSONAL STATEMENT: in this section, the guidelines are already given. kindly follow those guidelines and write a simple and precise statement that can be easily understood.

1.  STUDY PLAN: in this section kindly draft out according to the instructions how you plan on studying Korean language and your major after you arrive in Korea. you can sim ply put it as an essay.

1.  LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION: in this section your recommender's are expected to fill in this and have their signatures embedded on it.

1.  SELF MEDICAL ASSESSMENT: kindly tick YES to all except if the case is very serious you tick NO.
