MY KGSP JORUNEY

Placeholder Image Applying for a scholarship is not one of the finest of things around most especially when it comes to the application process. looking back in time and now, i did not regret the decisions i made while applying for the kgsp scholarship. i will share my story with you on how i went about mine but just take this as a tip so as to help in your application process as well.

waking up every morning and going through different sites for scholarship opportunities landed me the kgsp scholarship. i applied via the university track because i feared the competition via the embassy track. i flew my documents to Korea. before getting back to that, i applied twice to the kgsp scholarship. here's  what i did. i first applied to kyungsung university and i was rejected so i re-applied to another university which is wonkwang university in iksan. luckily for me, i was accepted by the university and i got the kgsp scholarship. i was also lucky enough to find a helper in Korea who helped me submitted my documents to the university because the application time was almost close.

although my story sounds and looks easy but it was a tough one. I don't want to beat around the bush as not to bore you guys out!

    Hello, I'm an undergraduate student and planing to apply for graduate KGSP 2018. Quota for my country only ten or eleven, and embassy track is three. I was wondering if you could share your idea on both tracks? since I'm still don't know which track I'm going to choose.

    hi thank you for contacting us. for the embassy track, the competition is a little bit fierce as it has to do with your interview as for the university track, it is also quite hard but its a little bit easier than the embassy track. furthermore if your transcript GPA is good you can take on any track with ease. we hope this answers your questions.

    thank you for contacting us. both tracks are highly competitive as more people get to know about the scholarship yearly, i applied via the university track and i applied to a least competitive school. i would advice you to apply via any track you heart desires to a least competitive university. i hope this answers your question. we look forward to hearing from you soon as we hope to help you get they scholarship

MY KGSP APPLICATION PROCESS

Just like every other scholarship i searched online for the kgsp scholarship at study in Korea website . the application for the scholarship usually opens 1st of September each year and i applied for the 2017 kgsp. i used the university track as i applied to kyungsung university in Busan (one of the leading universities in Busan). kyungsung accepts documents via email so i sent my documents to the person in charge of the kgsp at kyungsung university. my interview was scheduled for October 10th so i patiently waited for that. the day finally came and i received an email from the office. attached to the email was a PDF file which i downloaded and read about my rejection  kyungsung       and to no avail my dreams almost came crashing down. before the kgsp i spent hours all day long getting to know Korea as a country and also how kgsp scholars lived their lives in Korea.  I did not allow myself to get bothered by the rejection letter kyungsung university sent to me so i re-applied again fo...
